It's never too late, Break the Addiction

Admissions Getting Started

We make our pre-admission and admission process as easy as possible.

Admitting addiction and seeking help are very courageous steps toward the beginning of recovery. At Sprout Health Texas, we understand the anxiety and apprehension that you must be feeling at this moment, which is why we make our pre-admission and admission process as easy as possible. From the very second you call our facility to the day you complete your program, we will be with you every step of the way to offer guidance and support.

Let us begin with the pre-admission process. You can either call us or visit a facility near you to speak with a pre-admission counselor. They will ask a few questions regarding your health history, substance abuse and what type of insurance you have.

Admissions getting startedAddiction can be costly and so can treatment; however, paying for treatment has significantly more positive outcomes than continuously paying for your next high. With a one-time payment, we can teach you how to change your behaviors and fight your addiction. Finding the funding for treatment can be troublesome; however, Sprout Health Texas conveniently accepts most insurance plans. Additionally, the Affordable Care Act requires that health care providers provide coverage for behavioral treatments and some detox treatments. Our facility performs a complimentary analysis of your insurance plan in order to advise you accordingly. This includes any co-pays or out of pocket expenses that you might incur.

For those who do not have insurance, our intake coordinators can recommend treatment programs that work with financial aid, rehabilitation loan services, federally-funded programs or charitable organizations. Some programs may be available for free or offered at a reduced cost in order to help.

Our staff will also ask questions about health history as well as the severity of the substance abuse in order to properly assess the addiction. All of these questions will help determine whether or not our facility is a right fit for you and your needs. If we do find that we are a good match for each other, we can set an admission date for you to begin your treatment.

On the day of your admission, you will be greeted by our friendly staff and taken on a tour of our facility. During the tour of our facility, our intake team will provide you with additional information about our facility, the level of care and treatment options. Additionally, they will communicate closely with your referring doctor in order to gather as much information, such as medical history, as possible. This will allow our team to customize your treatment options without the inconvenience of redundant questions or paperwork.

After the tour, you will undergo a thorough orientation where we will advise you on policies and procedures. Once the orientation is complete, you will be given a psychological and medical evaluation. These tests will help determine your primary conditions as well as any underlying conditions that may need to be treated. We will create a highly individualized plan that aligns with the results of your assessments as well as the information gathered during the pre-admissions process.

It may seem like a lot of testing and assessments to undergo; however, we want to collect as much information about you as we can in order to establish the best treatment program for you. All treatment plans are evidence-based in the treatment and management of mental health conditions, chemical dependency and co-occurring conditions.

Depending on the nature, severity or type of condition or addiction, treatment will vary from person to person. Sprout Health Texas’ dedicated team of skilled professionals have the knowledge to determine each condition and the best possible treatments to ensure a long lasting sobriety. We provide an unmatched level of care which can teach you the tools necessary to stay sober and regain control of your life. We strive to meet the individual needs of each of our clients by providing unique and innovative cognitive and behavioral therapies.

Each plan has its own specialty program, such as detoxification, residential rehabilitation, partial hospitalization and outpatient. A case manager is assigned to each patient and serves as the middle-man between the patients and their families by keeping them updated on progress and discharge information.

Along with an individual case manager, we offer individual counseling complemented by extensive group therapy. The one-on-one treatment helps us establish your specific wants and needs while group therapy provides a safe haven for members to share their experience, find support and gain comfort in knowing they are not alone.

Sprout Health Texas offers programs, such as our unique Brain Wellness program, based on present best practices, such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Brief Strategic Family Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
  • Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy
  • Mindfulness Therapy

We also offer holistic approaches, such as:

  • Art therapy
  • Yoga and meditation
  • Psychodrama
  • Music Therapy

Our care continues past your stay in our facility and our aftercare services provide long-lasting support on your road to recovery. Sprout Health Texas is here to help and guide you. We support your decision to begin your journey to living your best life.

Sprout Health Texas’ goal is to provide successful treatment and long-term recovery to each patient. We ensure our patients continued care after they are discharged from our facility and notify authorized professionals of their discharge plans.

Our referral coordinator will also communicate the arrangements to the referring health care provider. The goal of discharge planning is to prepare our clients for their release from our facility as well as notify health professionals of their impending release. We want to prepare everyone for what is to come. Our hope is that every client leaves with the tools necessary for sobriety and mental wellness. Continued care can significantly increase the chances of a successful recovery; therefore, the referrer should prioritize the continued support the client may need in order to fortify their treatment.

We strongly believe that the solution to substance abuse, addiction and mental illness requires cooperation from the patients and their referring health care. By streamlining and eradicating the abundance of obstacles that arise during the admission and referral process, we are better able to serve the clients who are seeking mental health or substance abuse treatment. Sprout Health Texas greatly appreciates the partnership and assistance of referring health care professionals; without them, we could not provide our level of treatment.
