It's never too late, Break the Addiction

About Us

We develop highly customized treatment programs for each of our clients.

Hello, and welcome to Sprout Health Texas. We are a mixed-gender, inpatient and outpatient substance addiction rehabilitation facility. We offer a wide variety of therapeutic modalities and craft our treatment programs around the highly unique and individual needs of our patients. Our treatment programs begin with a thorough assessment process which involves extensive mental and physical examinations. No two people are the same; therefore, their treatment programs should follow suit.

Before patients enter our facility, they go through a pre-admission process where they will either call or meet with a pre-admission counselor in order to fill out questionnaires, provide health and substance abuse history and determine whether or not Sprout Health Texas is the right facility for them. We accept most insurances; however, for those who do not have insurance, there are nonprofit and charitable groups that may be able to help pay the facility fees. We understand the apprehension and anxiety patients are feeling before entering a facility; therefore, we make the pre-admission process, as well as all of our other processes as easy as possible.

When patients arrive at Sprout Health Texas, they will be greeted by our friendly staff and given a tour of our facility. We will inform our patients of our rules and regulations as well as policies and procedures, which are put in place for safety reasons, not to hinder their freedoms.

After orientation, our patients will begin their assessment process which will help our staff of highly trained substance rehab clinicians, as well as board-certified doctors, nurses, therapists and psychologists, create a highly individualized treatment plan that will provide the best possible results for our patients unique needs.

All of our treatment programs begin with the detoxification (detox) process. During this process, patients will safely remove the substance from their bodies and also experience withdrawal symptoms. Depending on the severity of their symptoms, they will either be in a hospital setting or at our facility. Either way, patients will be closely monitored and administered pain medication if need be.

Once the detox process is complete, patients will then proceed with a combination of our therapeutic modalities. Our programs do not only treat substance abuse, but they are also helpful in treating mental health disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. We provide a wide variety of therapeutic modalities, both traditional and holistic. We believe that by combining different therapies the chance for a successful recovery can be significantly increased. Some of the therapies we offer include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Solution Focused Brief Therapy
  • Brief Strategic Family Therapy
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy
  • Psychoeducational groups
  • Mindfulness

Patients who do not attend therapy sessions are more likely to spend time focusing on negative thoughts rather than the positive strides they have made through the detoxification process. The Solution-focused brief therapy is highly recommended in order to learn how to think positively. We also recommend the Brief Strategic Family Therapy which focuses on family interactions. Family inclusion helps create a large support network which is extremely helpful for after patients leave our facility.

Sprout Health Texas also offers experiential therapies, such as yoga, meditation, equine therapy and neurofeedback. Equine therapy is essential for patients to learn how to perform tasks on their own as well as relearn how to take care of themselves which in turn will boost their self-esteem. Neurofeedback is one of our most scientific therapies in which brain waves are measured through imaging. Our psychoanalysts are able to determine what needs to be done in order to change how the mind thinks and behaves.

All of our treatments are designed to treat and cure addiction as well as prevent certain addictive triggers.

We believe that the recovery process does not end when our treatment program ends. We highly recommend attending support groups, such as Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). These groups provide a safe and comfortable environment where people with similar experiences can share and learn different methods of coping from others. If you ever feel lonely or like giving into your addictive behaviors, it is important to reach out for support. This is another reason why we recommend including family into the recovery process. They are able to learn how to support their loved ones through this difficult time.

The road to recovery is not easy, but we assure you that we will be there every step of the way. We will teach you every tool necessary to maintain sobriety and to live a healthy life. Our goal is for you to achieve a successful recovery and we will work just as hard as you to get you that point.
